Short Sale Philadelphia Statistics
The short sale philadelphia market is heating up. As of today there are 549 active short sales; this time last year there were 339. That's a 60% increase in Philadelphia short sales. The amount of short sales that expired or withdrew is 908. 908 properties that never sold. There is HUGE opportunity here folks. We love negotiating with the banks. Wash West Stats 2011
Wash West Real Estate
The numbers are in for the boundaries of the WSWCA for 2011 and they are not to shabby.
134 properties changed hands on 2011, 49 single family residences, 85 condos.
126 in 2010, 45 single family, 81 condos.
This is nothing to write home about except that when you run these numbers against the city as a whole, 11068 in 2010, 9945 in 2011
So the City dropped 10% overall and Wash West gained 6.4%. So there.

Just a quick update about construction on the Jefferson Hospital Campus
Construction alert: The 11th Street entrance to Gibbon has reopened for entering and valet parking.
Construction alert: There is new building construction on the northwest corner of 9th and Walnut. The sidewalk adjacent to the site is inaccessible on both 9th and Walnut.
